Work in Progress. I’ve been watching a lot of Star Trek lately.
This little space alien loves working with her hands and creating shapes, objects and more from scratch. She teaches clay arts using polymer clay, air-dry clay, and anything else moldable, pliable, and crazy fantastic, just like her. She’s best friends with the Cosmo Cutie.
Mostly complete painting (I’ll go back into it in the future, maybe) of my Rock-It Girl character (she’ll get a proper name eventually). Revisited this 4-year-old design last month. Decided to wheel it on out, as I’m awfully busy lately, and have been just playing with details. It’s done enough for now. Tools: Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop CS5, Wacom Intuos4
If You’ve been hanging around livestream sessions lately (<- click to watch), you’ve been well acquainted with my Rock-It Girl. If not, you’re missing out. There’s over 5 hours of video on this piece already (technically more but the last recording isn’t showing up, and this worries me).
Click the image to enlarge and check out the sweet, sweet detail of a painting that has accrued over 7 hours of work (so far — 2 of the hours were not saved on the livestream channel due to a glitch in the system).
I’m pressed for time and filled with work over here, so I may not get back to this until the weekend. Planning no livestreaming the rest of the process (or at least recording it in some capacity).
